RALEIGH, N.C. – The Piedmont College men's soccer team picked up its fourth victory in conference play this season with a 3-1 win over William Peace Saturday.
CHASE KANE added to his team-leading 11 goals this season with a pair against the Pacers.
Sophomore
COLIN OWEN was the Lion to get PC on the board with a strike in the 42nd minute, giving him his second goal of the season. Piedmont then took a 2-0 lead as
CHASE KANE scored his first of the evening in the 57th minute with
BRANDON RAMOS earning the assist.
The Pacers added a goal in the 65th minute making it 2-1 but the Lions answered with another goal as Kane added his second of the contest in the 87th minute. Kane now has four multi-goal games this season.
The Lions sit at 4-2 in conference play while posting a 7-3 record overall. Piedmont is currently in second in the west division standings behind 6-0 Maryville.
