DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont men's soccer team closed out its regular season home schedule with a 2-0 loss to Ferrum on Sunday afternoon.
Ferrum jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 28th minute and held a 13-10 shot advantage at halftime. Of the Lions' 10 shots, five were on goal.
The Panthers would score again in the 54th minute and held the lead for the remainder of the match.
Both teams managed six shots in the second half.
VICTOR MUNOZ took a team high five shots while
CHASE KANE had four.
BRANDON RAMOS, Munoz and Kane each had two shots on goal.
Keeper
ELLIOT SAILES finished with five saves and two goals allowed.
