ALEXIS NARDUCCI to ground the Lady Hawks of Huntingdon College 15-6 earlier Saturday in a road USA South contest.
For Narducci, the six goals was a season-best as she scored four in the first half to help Piedmont build a 7-2 advantage at the break. Â PC broke a 1-1 deadlock with six straight to overwhelm the hosting Hawks in Montgomery.Â
Huntingdon would score four in the second half but could never build momentum against PC failing to score back-to-back goals on the afternoon in the 15-6 decision. Â
For Piedmont, the win puts the Lady Lions in a two-way tie for second in the USA South standings with Greensboro College who visits Walker Athletic Complex a week from today for the regular season finale.

BLAKE FORREST who moves to 8-4 now as a starter in her 2016 season. Â
Turning Point--The six goal streak that Piedmont used in the first half to take a commanding 7-1 lead with
ALEXIS NARDUCCI scoring her fourth of the day to cap the stretch for PC.
Standout Performances--
ALEXIS NARDUCCI stood out with a six-goal performance against Huntingdon, her highest scoring performance of the season surpassing a five-goal outing against George Fox on March 1.

CAHNER MANNS led the Lady Lions on the draw with six, as many as Huntingdon had as a team, while
FRANCESCA MALABAD posted four to place second.

CAITLIN O'BRIEN forced three turnovers while also tallying four goals on the offensive end.
Inside the Box Score--Piedmont out-shot the Hawks 29-21 in the USA South showdown with 24 of those 29 shots finding the cage.
--Both teams were strong on the clear combining to go 27-of-36 while Piedmont was dominant on the draw winning 15 of the 21.
News & Notes--The Lady Lions have won three of their last four match-ups with the only loss coming in their last home game.--Piedmont is now 4-0 vs. Huntingdon in women's lacrosse winning by an average better than 13 goals per game.
Up NextPiedmont will return home for its final home game of the 2016 season playing Greensboro College at Walker Athletic Complex on April 9 with the opening draw at 11:30 am.Â
