Wesleyan 9-3 Friday afternoon.

N.C. Wesleyan got on the board early with three runs in the bottom of the first but Piedmont chipped away at the lead in the top of the third. The Lions scored on a

All but one starter for the Battling Bishops recorded a hit in the contest as they had 13 hits while Piedmont had nine.Â
Turning Point--The Battling Bishops set the tone early with three runs in the bottom of the first.

CHRIS WHITE was 3-for-4 in the game with a run scored and an RBI.Â
Inside the Box Score--
BUDDY GREEN closed out the game on the mound tossing the final 1.1 innings allowing just one hit and striking out two batters.Â
