Piedmont had a pair of hits by GRIFFIN OLSON and ZACH LANGLEY after a leadoff walk to WILL SKIDMORE to drive in Skidmore for the tying run.

Huntingdon continued to score, however, adding on a run in the third and tacking on three more in the fourth inning to lead 5-1. The Lions' starter RILEY PRESNELL pitched 4.0 innings giving up just four hits and two earned runs.

The Hawks extended their lead to 11-1 after a six-run sixth inning which saw Piedmont make three pitching changes. Piedmont's bullpen allowed just four hits in the final five innings of play but Huntingdon added one more run in the seventh and a pair in the ninth for the final score 14-1.
