Demorest, GA - In a home regular season finale for a pair of seniors in AMANDA TROTTER and HEATHER LAPRADE, the Piedmont College volleyball team would not be denied winning 3-0 over visiting Wesleyan College on Senior night in Cave Arena.

Piedmont won 25-4 in the first, 25-7 in the second, and 25-9 in the third to cruise to the straight sets victory and improve to 8-6 in conference action.  PC now sits just one game back of Maryville College in the West Division standings with one game to play in league action.

The Lady Lions collected 21 aces on the match, the second most aces in a three-set match since the 2008 season.  The record in that category also came against Wesleyan with 31 back in a 2009 win over the Wolves when the two were GSAC members together.

Wesleyan was held to a -.138 hitting percentage in the match while Piedmont posted a .417 hitting .500 or better in two of the three sets.  

Turning Point
--Piedmont's dominant showing in the opening set winning 25-4 put the night out of reach for the visiting Wolves as the Lady Lions rolled to another conference win.

Standout Performances
--AMANDA TROTTER had ten kills and five aces in her final regular season match in the Cave with 13 total attemps on the evening.
--Fellow senior HEATHER LAPRADE picked up a pair of service aces in the contest to move into 3rd in that category in the 25-point Era (since 2008) surpassing former great Tyler Baldonado.

Inside the Box Score
--Piedmont never allowed the visitors to reach double-digits in the straight sets win with the Wolves posting their best total in the third and final set with nine points. 
--The Lady Lions claimed 32 kills to just six for the Wolves.

--Tonight was Senior Night for a pair of Lady Lions in AMANDA TROTTER and HEATHER LAPRADE who played their final regular season contest in Cave Arena. 
--Wesleyan has not taken a set in any of the now 21 matches the Wolves have played this season.
