Location: Demorest, Georgia - Walker Athletic Complex

Demorest, GA - The comeback kids were at it again Saturday afternoon at Walker Athletic Complex but a late goal by TOMMY HILL wasn't enough to spark a comeback for the Piedmont College men's soccer team who dropped a 2-1 decision to Greensboro College. The Lions had success late against the Pride defense but Hill's strike was the only ball to find the net for the Lions.

The Lions had a good look early in the contest with a shot in the third minute by LUKE MARTIN, but that strike was saved by the Pride. The first goal of the game belonged to Sisay Sendek who scored in the 25th minute as the score remained 1-0 heading into the break.

The Pride struck quickly in the second half as well with their second goal in the 48th minute of the game by Carlos Barragan. Piedmont was able to answer in the 80th minute as CHASE KANE picked up an assist on the finisher by TOMMY HILL trailing 2-1.

Piedmont has just three contests remaining in the 2016 regular season with the home finale coming Tuesday night v. Covenant at 7 p.m.
