The Bears took the sets 25-16, 25-22, 25-19, respectively. Piedmont has now dropped its last four matches in straight sets after opening the season 4-2. KYLIE BLANTON had an impressive attack percentage with a .429 recording four kills on seven attacks.
Piedmont had negative attack percentages in its last two matches but posted a .111 Tuesday against the Bears who had a .198 total. In the final set, Piedmont lost by just six points but had six kills and six errors to even out and make it a .000 attack percentage.
The Lady Lions were led by Blanton in attack percentage but
MALLORY LEARY led the team with five kills.
EMILY PETERS had an impressive showing with 19 assists and four digs plus two aces while fellow freshman
KAITLYN LOESEL had a good outing as well with four kills, one ace and six digs.
Turning Point-The Lady Lions nearly took the second set from the Bears but a service error ended the set and left momentum on the side of Truett-McConnell.

KYLIE BLANTON led the way for Piedmont in attack percentage with a .429 as she posted four kills on seven attacks.

EMILY PETERS had 19 assists, snagging all but one for the Lady Lions while adding four digs and two service aces.
Inside the Box Score-Piedmont rebounded from their past two performances to post a .111 attack percentage after two negative attack percentages at the Emory Classic.
-Kendall Hardy for the Bears was electric as she recorded nine kills on 16 attacks for a .438 attack percentage.
-Piedmont surrendered 35 kills while notching 21 of its own.
News & Notes-The Lady Lions are on a four game losing streak and had one last season, but went on to win 10 of their last 15 games of the season.
