FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Georgia - The Piedmont College men's tennis team traveled to non-conference host Emmanuel College this afternoon and picked up a 6-3 decision. The Lions took two of the three doubles matches and four of the singles matches en route to their 11th victory of the season.
In #2 doubles play the tandem of 
Chris Davidson and 
Patrick Steck picked-up an 8-4 decision. After dropping the first two points in singles action 
Trey Martin was able to find the match-clinching point at #3 singles by the score of 6-1, 6-1. 
Chris Davidson claimed a hard-fought decision at #4 singles 6-4, 3-6 and 10-7 while 
Jay Evans chipped-in with a straight-set victory at #5 singles.
The Lions, now 11-4 overall, will return to action again tomorrow, April 10 as they travel to in-state rival Oglethorpe University starting at 3:30.
