DEMOREST, Georgia - The Piedmont College men's tennis team defeated visiting USA South Conference member LaGrange College this afternoon by the score of 9-0. The Lions did not drop a set en route to their second shutout conference victory of the season and fourth win overall.

Piedmont picked up three points at doubles claiming the matches 8-1, 8-1 and 8-0. In the singles matches the Lions claimed six straight-set victories including Trey Martin who posted the clinching point at #3 singles winning his match 6-1 and 6-0.

The Lions, now 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the USA South Conference, will return to the courts again tomorrow, March 21 as they travel to Covenant College for a 3:30 non-conference match.
