DEMOREST, Georgia -- The Piedmont men's tennis team extended their winning streak to four matches Friday with a win over Millsaps College in Demorest by a score of 5-4.  Despite being down 2-1 after doubles play the Lions rallied to take four out of six singles matches to secure the win. 

In doubles play the Lions were defeated at the #1 and #3 spots, but Chris Davidson and Patrick Steck managed to secure the win in the #2 doubles match in a thrilling tie-breaker.  The match was clinched in singles play at the #5 position by Sophomore Trey Martin, who coasted to a straight set-victory (6-3, 6-3).  Piedmont also won at the #2, #3 and #6 positions in singles play.  

Piedmont (4-1, 2-0 USA South) will face-off with North Carolina Wesleyan College tomorrow afternoon in Demorest.  Match time is set for 3 PM.
