Miller Scores Twice To Lead Women's Soccer Past Oglethorpe

Kelley Miller found the back of the net twice in the Lady Lions' 2-0 road win at Oglethorpe University.
Box Score ATLANTA, Georgia -- The Piedmont College women's soccer team earned a 2-0 non-conference road win at Oglethorpe University this afternoon behind a pair of goals by KELLEY MILLER.  The victory moves Piedmont to 7-3 overall on the season.

Miller opened the scoring with her second goal of the season with just two minutes to go before halftime.  Her goal came off of a corner kick with the assist credited to LAURA GOODWIN.

The sophomore from Murrayville, GA again found the net in the 76th minute off of another corner with the helper coming from SHAYNA ROGERS

MARJORIE HAMMOND recorded the shutout in goal turning away both of the Stormy Petrels' shots.  Piedmont outshot Oglethorpe 20-6 and held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Piedmont will return to USA South Athletic Conference action with a pair of weekend contests as the Lady Lions host Greensboro College on Saturday and Averett University on Sunday at PC's Walker Field.
