WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- The Lions take a short trip down I-85 to familiar opponent, Oglethorpe University on Sunday, October 25th. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.

TURNING POINT:
- Back-to-back goals in just over a minute pushed Piedmont ahead right before the break by too large a margin for the Eagles to recover from as Toccoa managed only a pair of shots in the contest.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- In terms of possession, Piedmont spent 55% of its time with the ball in the final 1/3 creating close to 40 shots with over half of those on frame.
- Piedmont played 30 players on the evening spreading the scoring around as all seven goals were scored by a different Lion.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Genesis Gamez scored what would be the game winner in the 6th minute off a Sydney Spitzer cross.
- Freshman Averi Cornutt posted a shutout performance needing to only make a pair of saves on the evening, her first career start.
