WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- The Lions stay on the road for the second of four away games to wrap up the regular season as they pay a visit to Agnes Scott College on Tuesday for an afternoon showdown.
TURNING POINT:
- The early score gave Asbury a lead Piedmont could not overcome as the Eagles scored in the 13th minute off a deflected clearance that Milei Baker put away for her second goal of the season.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Asbury applied early pressure and never let up out-shooting the Linos 9-2 in the second half alone.
STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- The back four for Asbury held Piedmont to only a few chances in the final 60 minutes but also attacked well in wide areas creating overloads that were tough for the Lions to match up with.
