Rome, GA - A 7-2 win for Piedmont over Berry College at home on Feb. 21, the home opener, was repeated Thursday afternoon when the Lions traveled to the Vikings and ripped off another 7-2 win. The visitors posted their fourth straight match win in the process.

Christopher Davidson and
Jay Evans all won singles matches #2-#6, respectively. Senior
Moses Das dropped a heartbreaker at #1 singles, falling 7-5, 4-6, 10-6, while Hallberg worked equally hard for his win, coming out on top of a 2-6, 6-1, 10-4 finish at flight four.
The doubles combos of Hallberg and Davidson won 8-3 at #2 doubles, while Evans and Silverberg teamed for a win at #3 doubles, winning 8-4. Hallberg and Davidson improve their season doubles record to 10-1 together, while Evans/Silverberg are now a perfect 5-0. Davidson meanwhile picked up his team-leading eighth singles win. The Lions are now 7-4 on the year and take a 4-0 Great South Athletic Conference record into their April 2 home match against arch-rivals Maryville College, with first serve coming at 3:00 pm.
