Panthers Blanked As Evans, Lions Remain Unbeaten In GSAC

Moses Das and Patrick Steck took care of business in their doubles match en route to Piedmont's 9-0 win over visiting LaGrange. The Lions are now 4-0 in GSAC play.

Demorest, GA - The Lions took their third straight win, a season-high, while also staying perfect at 4-0 in Great South Athletic Conference play with a 9-0 shutout of visiting LaGrange College Tuesday afternoon.  Piedmont posted the exact same result on the Panthers on March 4 on the road before duplicating the output again.

Freshman Jay Evans led the way for the men, winning at No. 5 singles and again in doubles flight three.  Evans won in straight sets in his singles match, downing his opponent 6-2, 6-0 and posted an 8-1 doubles win.  Piedmont now stands at 6-4 overall and 4-0 in the conference, and will now travel to Berry College Thursday for a 3:00 pm match.
