Lions Pick Up Doubles Point In Loss At Sewanee

Nick Hallberg (back) and Christopher Davidson (front) teamed up for an 8-2 doubles win at Sewanee. The duo has won twice so far this year in doubles competition.

Sewanee, TN - The Lions dropped an 8-1 game at Sewanee, falling to 1-2 on the season. Sophomore Joel Silverberg and freshman Nick Hallberg both fought hard in their singles matches, while Hallberg teamed up with sophomore Christopher Davidson for an 8-2 win at #2 doubles.

Silverberg lost his #2 singles match 6-3, 6-2, while Hallberg's comeback attempt came up just short, as he fell at flight four 6-0, 7-6. The Lions return to action on the court today at Millsaps College.
