Box Score DEMOREST, Georgia -- The Piedmont College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 non-conference decision tonight to the visiting Tornadoes of Talladega College at PC's Walker Field.  Talladega recorded single goals in each half to secure the school's eighth win of the season.

Augusto Maciel tallied an unassisted goal in the game's 16th minute and the two teams would carry the 1-0 score into halftime.

Joes Luis Rodriguez added the insurance goal at the 61:22 mark while teammate Esteban Pastrana recorded the shutout in goal turning away two Piedmont shots.

Talladega outshot the Lions 17-10 but PC held the advantage in corners 9-5. 

The loss drops Piedmont to 4-6-1 overall on the season with the next action for the Lions scheduled for Saturday, October 6th when the team travels to Maryville College in USA South play.
