Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team earned its first victory of the season over visiting Emmanuel College this afternoon at Burgen Tennis Courts.  PC collected five of six singles matches en route to the 6-3 victory. 

The tandem of Jon Reinert and Mike Matthews each posted singles points while also claiming the lone doubles point for the Lions.  #J.J. McCay# grabbed a singles point in straight sets 7-5, 6-1 while teammate Moses Das need a third and deciding set to swipe his team-high eighth singles win.  Junior Ryan Cabo also chipped in winning 6-1, 6-3 at #6 singles. 

With the win, the Lions move to 1-10 overall.  Piedmont will get back on the court when they host Great South Athletic Conference foe LaGrange College on Saturday, April 10 with the first serve set for 1:00.
