Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team fell to visiting Great South Athletic Conference member Huntingdon College this afternoon 6-3 at Burgen Tennis Courts. After taking a doubles point from the Hawks, PC dropped four of six singles matches down the stretch to collect its fourth conference loss of the season.
The pair of
Jon Reinert and
Mike Matthews grabbed the lone doubles point for the Lions 8-0 at #2 doubles. Sophomore
Moses Das and junior #J.J. McCay
notched points at 1 and #3 singles.
With the loss, the Lions fall to 2-11 overall and 1-4 in conference play. Piedmont returns to the court on Wednesday, April 14 for a road contest with Young Harris College. The first serve is set for 3:00.
