Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team defeated Great South Athletic Conference member LaGrange College this afternoon at Burgen Tennis Courts by a final score of 6-3.  The Lions grabbed four of six singles matches in addition to two doubles matches en route to their first GSAC win of the season.

Doubles partners Jon Reinert and Mike Matthews claimed a victory at #2 doubles as the Lions won their second straight match.  Sophomore Moses Das continued to lead Piedmont taking his ninth singles point of the season in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.  Andrew Peck and Zack Hicks both added singles and doubles points with victories at #6 and #5 singles respectively. 

The win moves the Lions to 2-10 overall and 1-3 in conference play.  Piedmont will get back on the court on Sunday, April 11 playing host to GSAC member Huntingdon College with the match slated to start at 1:00.
