Franklin Springs, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team was defeated on the road this afternoon by in-state foe Emmanuel College. The Lions gathered a doubles point along with two singles wins, but fell by a 6-3 score for their tenth loss of the season.
In singles action, #J.J. McCay# picked up a point in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 while
Moses Das also contributed with his seventh singles victory of the season winning 6-4, 7-6. The pair of
Jon Reinert and
Mike Matthews claimed an 8-2 decision at #2 doubles to give PC its third point.
With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-10 overall. PC will look to grab its first win on Tuesday, April 6th as they host Emmanuel College at Burgen Tennis Courts with the match set for a 4:00 start.
