Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team fell to visiting Oglethorpe University this afternoon at Burgen Tennis Courts by a score of 9-0. The Lions were unable to collect a point as Oglethorpe took all six singles and all three doubles matches.
Piedmont fought hard but the visiting Stormy Petrels failed to drop a set and were too much for the host Lions. With the loss, PC drops to 0-6 overall.
The squad will look to regroup when they travel to Waleska, GA on March 18 to take on Reinhardt College with the match set to start at 3:30.
