LaGrange, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team was defeated by Great South Athletic Conference member LaGrange College on Sunday afternoon by the score of 5-4.  The match saw PC take three singles points along with a doubles point, but it was not enough to overcome the host Panthers. 

The pair of Mike Matthews and Andrew Peck grabbed the lone doubles point for the Lions 8-1.  Moses Das picked up his third point of the season at #1 singles with all three points coming in conference play.  Zack Hicks and Andrew Peck collected the remaining points for PC at #5 and #6 singles respectively. 

The loss drops Piedmont to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in GSAC.  The Lions will return to action when they host Oglethorpe University in a non-conference match up set to begin at 4:00.
