PC Competes In NCAA South/Southeast Region Championships

Head Coach Scott Stanley lead his runners to another NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championship appearance earlier today with five of his Lions posting scoring times.
Memphis, TN -- The Piedmont College cross country teams competed in the 2010 NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships hosted by Rhodes College earlier this morning.  The men's squad posted a 22nd place finish with five runners posting scoring times for the Lions.

On the 8K course, Wesley Milton led the way for third-year Head Coach Scott Stanley as the sophomore came across the finish line at 28:32.  Teammate Chez Maxwell posted a course time of 29:28 while outgoing senior Matt Collins put the finishing touches on his PC career coming in just under 30 minutes for the race.

2010 GSAC Freshman of the Year AJ Meyer came in 31:19 and Quentin Deaton rounded out the Piedmont list at 35:35 even to help PC to the 22nd finish.
