The Piedmont College men's soccer team defeated Great South Athletic Conference opponent Huntingdon College on Walker Field tonight by the score of 3-2. The victory secures the Lions a second-place finish in the GSAC regular-season.

JAKE KREIGER netted the first goal for PC at the 12:00 mark on an assist from Paul Mitchell. George Sandi scored an unassisted goal in which he beat three defenders just two minutes later.

After Huntingdon answered with a goal at the 36:00 mark, Drew Griffin earned the eventual game-winner on an unassisted goal at the 43:00 mark. Despite a goal by the opposition at the 87:00 mark, Huntingdon was unable to find the equalizer and PC walked away with the victory.
