Demorest, GA -- The Piedmont College men's tennis team fell this afternoon to visiting NAIA Emmanuel College at Burgen Tennis Courts by the score of 8-1. The loss marks the eighth consecutive defeat for the Lions who remain winless on the season.

In #4 singles JON REINERT picked up the first victory of the season for Piedmont with his 6-3, 6-1 straight set win.  The singles victory marked the first point that the Lions have won in a match this season. 

The Lions now stand at 0-8 overall and will return to the court again on Friday, February 17th as they host Great South Athletic Conference foe LaGrange College at Burgen Tennis Courts starting at 3:00.
