In the second meeting of the season between the two schools, the Piedmont College men's basketball team again fell at the hands of visiting Oglethorpe University by the score of 87-79 tonight in PC's Cave Arena. In a game that featured 14 lead changes and the score tied 66-66 with eight minutes remaining, the Stormy Petrels were able to pull away from PC and record the eight-point victory.

The loss drops Piedmont to 4-6 overall while Oglethorpe improves to a 6-3 mark. The Lions will return to action again on Thursday, January 4th as they host non-conference opponent Pensacola Christian College with tip-off slated for 7:00.
