The Piedmont College men's basketball team moved to 2-1 overall on the season this evening with a 110-67 non-conference road win at Warren-Wilson College in Asheville, NC. Tyler Whitlock highlighted the evening with his first career triple-double of 11 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
The Lions jumped out to an early 17-4 lead and never looked back as they took a 51-34 advantage into the locker room. Piedmont was very efficient offensively scoring on 61% of the team's shots.
Jake Baldwin led all scorers with a game-high 28 points on 12-16 shooting from the floor. David Adcock and Drew Bailey combined for seven three-point baskets as the duo scored 23 and 19 respectively. Brent Walker pulled down a team-best 11 rebounds.
Piedmont will return to action on Tuesday, November 29th when the Lions host Oglethorpe University in the squad's home-opener with tip-off set for 7:00 in PC's Johnny Mize Athletic Center.
