Biography

As a Senior (2015): Played 115 sets over 32 matches starting 19 games…Tallied a total of 302.5 points with an average of 2.63 points per set…Totaled 272 kills on the season with double digit kills in 12 games with a season high of 17 against Greensboro (10/10)…Recorded 91 digs during the season…Helped with 5 assists.

As a Junior (2014): Played in 110 sets over of 32 matches for the Lady Lions…Accounted for 235.5 points this season with an average of 2.14 points per set…Notched 204 kills for Piedmont…Totaled 6 games this season with double-digit kills…Posted 91 digs…Season high of kills (12) and digs (8) against Lagrange College (8/29)…Tallied 3 assists.

As a Sophomore (2013):  Played in 66 sets over 23 matches accounting for 143.5 of the team’s points on the season…Her 132 kills ranked her 6th on the team in that category…One of eight players to post double-digit blocks on the season with 19, four of those coming as solos…Also added 35 digs…Posted a season-high 14 kills in 28 attempts during a October 13th match vs. Ferrum…Tallied double-digit kill totals in a single game on three occasions…Best single match attack percentage came in a late season win over William Peace when Leary hit .389 (9 kills on 18 attempts with 2 errors) …Named to the USA South Academic All-Conference Team.

As a Freshman (2012): Appeared in 23 matches making 10 starts playing in 69 sets recording 135 kills…Notched a season-high 13 kills vs. Greensboro (10/13)…Ranked second on the team in kills per set average with 1.96…USA South Academic All-Conference selection.

Prep & Personal: Native of beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida…Born August 8th, 1994 to parents Mike and Kelli…One of three children along with 2 brothers, Michael and Trey…Graduated from Pinellas Park High School in 2012…Participated in the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Science Honor Society…Also President of the LiveFree Club and named Student of the Month by her Rotary Club…Was captain of both her JV and Varsity volleyball teams while participating…Majoring in Criminal Justice at PC…Member of Sigma Alpha Pi at Piedmont for academic performance…Also ran track during her high school days…Played volleyball for Coach Zourkas at Pinellas Park…Also played club ball for Pinellas Heat Elite under coaches Terry and Barb Small…Participated in the Senior All-Star Game and was a PCAC Honorable Mention.
