Sara Pasour joined the Piedmont staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2023. Pasour joined the Lions after spending a pair of seasons at UNC Charlotte as a graduate assistant with the volleyball program.
During her time at UNC Charlotte, Pasour helped the 49ers to 23 total wins and a pair of appearances in the Conference USA quarterfinals. She assisted in practice plans and warm ups while also assisting in scouting reports.
She also served as a strength and conditioning intern within the athletic department in the fall of 2022 assisting with team lifts and managing player nutrition post-workout.
Pasour also has experience at the club level with Lake Norman Volleyball Club in Huntersville, N.C., serving in multiple capacities since 2021, and previously with Biltmore Volleyball Club in Asheville, N.C. from 2018-2021.
Pasour spent her playing days at Mars Hill seeing time in all 96 matches of her four year career with the Lions. She served as a floor captain in 19-20 and again in 20-21 and was a member of the South Atlantic Conference All-Freshman team in 2017.
As a setter, Pasour led the team in assists each season totaling over 1,700 assists in her career along with nearly 900 digs.
Pasour graduated from Mars Hill in 2021 with a degree in integrated health science with a concentration in physical therapy. She also earned a master's degree in kinesiology with a sports performance concentration from UNC Charlotte in 2023.
