Faith Miller came to Piedmont University straight out of her own collegiate playing career at NCAA Division III member institution Pfeiffer University, a school which spent time sharing conference affiliation with Piedmont during the two programs' time as USA South foes.
“I’m incredibly excited to join Coach Tatum’s staff at Piedmont," said Miller when joining Piedmont in the summer of '26. "Her passion for developing student-athletes and the culture she’s building made this an opportunity, I could not pass up. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute and help continue moving the program forward.”
Miller joined Piedmont prior to the fall of 2026 to work with the volleyball program joining forces with rising star and Piedmont Head Volleyball Coach Kat Tatum who this to say about the hire of Miller at the time:

A four-year member of the Falcons' volleyball program at Pfeiffer, Miller's collegiate playing days saw her play every match in three of her four seasons giving her an incredibly reliable track record for Pfeiffer Head Coach Heather Schoch.

~ Club Volleyball Coaching Prepared her for Piedmont Debut ~
While still competing as a NCAA Division III student-athlete at Pfeiffer University, Miller somehow still found the time to serve as a Head Coach with the High Rock Volleyball Club from 2023 to her graduation time-frame in May of 2026.
Miller gained invaluable coaching experience while working with the club leading practices and developing a team culture focused on positivity and growth-oriented practices as she had opportunities to mentor the young athletes she was working with as well.

Spending her time either as a middle blocker or right side for the Falcons, Miller was a key part of the lineup no matter where she lined up playing in over 100 matches across her four years as one of the most consistent hitters on the team.
Perhaps one of her best qualities as a collegiate player was what many coaches deem the best ability - availability.
Twice Miller played 30-plus matches within the same season as three of her four years saw her take the court in every single Falcons volleyball match of the year.
