Biography

As a Senior (2016): Saw action in 84 sets starting 22 of 30 matches…Tallied a total of 260.0 points with an average of 3.10 points per set, good for Second on the team… Fifth in the USA South Conference with a hitting percentage of .296…  First on the team with a total of 201 kills on the season averaging 2.39 per set…Recorded 53 digs during the season … Helped the Lady Lions with 13 assists.

As a Junior (2015): Played 103 sets over 30 matches starting 28 of them…Had a total of 255 points with an average of 2.48 points per set…Totaled 14 kills on the season with double digits kills in 6 games with a season high of 14 against Meredith (11/6)…Recorded 52 digs during the season…Helped with 11 assists. 

As a Sophomore (2014): Played in 88 sets over of 32 matches…Averaged 1.39 points per set with a total of 122 points on the season…Added 92 kills this season with 11 assists...2nd highest number of blocks total on the team with 52, 46 of them being block assists…Highest attack percentage of the season against Agnes Scott (9/17) and Lagrange College (9/20) with a .667 percentage both games with 6 total attacks.

As a Freshman (2013):  Played in 30 sets over 15 appearances…Put up 37 kills on 118 total attempts…Accounted for 39 points in her 15 matches played…Added four blocks on the season, all coming as block assists…Made only one receiving error on the season…Posted one of the best single day performances by any Lady Lion when she hit .556 in a pair of wins over Greensboro and Mary Baldwin on October 5th…On that afternoon, Trotter did not commit a single error in 27 total attempts picking up 15 kills along the way…More than 15 of her 39 points accounted for came on that single afternoon…Named to the USA South Academic All-Conference Team.

Prep & Personal: Born July 7th, 1995 to parents Chris and Gayla Trotter…Has one brother, Cory…Graduated from Heritage High School in 2013…Currently a Nursing major at Piedmont…Played for Coach John Gaston at Heritage…Played her travel ball for Choo Choo City Volleyball Club…Named 1st Team All-Area in high school…Named MVP at Southeast Tournament…Led high school team to first ever appearance in state tournament…Fell to Sandy Creek in state playoffs, placing her squad 6th in all of Georgia...Dean's List...Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success...Compass Fellows Scholarship recipient.
