Kassie Corsi enters her second season on staff at Piedmont as Associate Head Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2020. Corsi joined Piedmont in the summer of 2019 coming from Long Island University after spending two seasons as an assistant athletic trainer.

In her first season at Piedmont, Corsi worked primarily with the men's basketball and women's lacrosse teams while also handling the fall non-traditional schedules. 
 
During her time at Long Island University, Corsi primarily covered football, men’s basketball and softball while providing secondary coverage for an array of sports. She oversaw comprehensive medical exams, screenings and rehabilitation plans for all sports related injuries.
 
Corsi also spent a pair of seasons at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio from 2015-2017 covering men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and men’s and women’s tennis. While at Case Western Reserve, Corsi served as an academic instructor for the sports medicine minor developing course plans and managing student athletic training hours and sport assignments. 
 
She was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Akron from 2013-2015 where she served as an academic instructor, teaching assistant within the athletic training education program and was a volunteer athletic trainer for the Army ROTC program.
 
During her time at the University of Akron, Corsi was also the co-coordinator for Midview STEM Visitation Day organizing an educational tour for middle school aged children about the athletic training profession. 

Corsi earned her bachelor of science in athletic training from Alfred University in 2013. She added her master’s in education with a focus in Exercise Physiology & Adult Fitness from the University of Akron in 2015. 
 
Corsi is certified through the BOC and licensed as an Athletic Trainer. A member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), she also is American Red Cross CPR/AED certified.
