As a Sophomore (2011): Saw action in 15 contests…Fourth on the team in goals with three…Posted seven points on the season…Recorded one assist…Tallied six shots-on-goal.

As a Freshman (2010): Recorded 17 starts…Scored one goal on 10 shots…Recorded four shots-on-goal…GSAC All-Freshman team selection.

Prep & Personal: Born December 4th, 1991 to parents Daniel and Elizabeth Sherfy…Has a brother, Mike, and a sister, Danielle…Graduated from Cookeville High School  in 2010…Business major at Piedmont…Prepped under high school coach Sam Matson at Cookeville…Club coach was Will Lee…A 1st Team All-Conference selection as a senior and junior in high school…Selected to the 2nd Team All-State as a senior as well…2010 6AAA District MVP…Captained his Cookeville High School team in his final season with the team…Also named the 2009 7AAA District Defensive MVP as a junior.
