As a Senior: (2015-2016) – Played in all 12 games… Picked up 7 Ground balls… Caused 2 Turnovers... Won 5 of 14 Face-offs for a percentage of 35.7%... Season best of 3 Groundballs against Huntingdon College.
As a Junior (2014-15): Saw action in 9 contests this season with a total of 16 minutes of play…His only rebound of the season came against Berry College in his first game of the season…His only basket came in his next appearance, his longest one of the season, with nine minutes and two points against East. Mennonite.
Prep & Personal: Native of Hayesville, North Carolina...Born April 27th 1993 to parents Mark and Shannon Cox...Two siblings: Braxton and Emma...Graduated from Hayesville High School in 2011 where he played basketball, baseball, soccer, and track...Played basketball under head coach Mike Cottrell...Recognized junior year on All Conference Team for basketball and soccer...Earned Honorable Mention for basketball sophomore year and for soccer sophomore and senior years...Tied record for most double doubles in career at Hayesville High School and gathered record for most charges taken...Attended Catawba Valley Community College for two years before transferring to Piedmont in 2013...Majoring in Business Administration.
