Biography

As a Junior (2017): Posted a recorded of 3-3 on the season… Appeared in 17 games with 5 starts... Posted an ERA 2.91… Faced 176 batters putting up 25 strike outs…  Allowed 14 earned runs and 15 walks on the season. USA South Pitcher of the Week Honoree.

As a Sophomore (2016): Pitched in 8 games for the Lions posting 2 starts… Acquired a record of 1-0 on the season with an ERA of 6.75… Pitched in 19 innings facing 85 batters… Gave up 29 hits, 9 walks, and only 9 earned runs… Posted 15 strike outs on the season.

As a Freshman (2015):  Pitched in 50.1 innings… Was named Rookie Pitcher of the Week on March 23rd…Had 30 strikeouts as a freshman… Made 12 starts in the Green and Gold finishing the year with a 3-4 record…Only freshman to start for the Lions on the mound this season.

Prep & Personal: Native of Candler, North Carolina…Born on February 12, 1996 to parents Aletha and Lyle…Brother Casey…Graduated from Enka High School in 2014 with a 4.06 weighted GPA…Earned a spot on the A/B Honor Roll in 2011, 2013, and 2014…All-Conference in 2014…Highlight of high school career was a homerun to center field for his last high school game…Environmental Science major at Piedmont.
