As a Junior (2016): Had 3 starts on the hill for the Lions… Pitched 8.2 innings facing 42 batters posting 12 strike outs… Acquired an ERA of 12.46 on the season.

As a Sophomore (2015): Started three games for the Lions in 2015…Threw 12.2 innings for the Green & Gold…Struck out nine batters…Helped lead the Lions to a victory over Birmingham-Southern (4/8) after pitching six innings giving up just three hits and one run while striking out five batters.

As a Freshman (2014): Did not see game action.

Prep & Personal: Native of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida…Born on April 5, 1994 to parents Russell and Denise Astin…Graduated from South Walton High School in 2012…Coached by Nick Borthwick…Played travel for the Pensacola Pirates coached by Larry Scappechi…All-Area team selection his junior and senior year…Business Major.
