As a Senior (2016): Posted a recorded 5-1 with an ERA of 2.08… Appeared in 27 games coming out of the bullpen pitching 56.1 innings… Earned one save… Faced 208 batters only giving up 50 hits and 13 earned runs… Posted 43 strikeouts on the season… Acquired a season best at Covenant pitching 5 innings with 6 strike outs, giving up zero hits, zero walks, and no earned runs… Tokarz’s finished third in the country in total appearances on the season while totaling 92 trips to the mound in his four-year career… Named USA South All-Conference second team.

As a Junior (2015): Pitched in 51.2 innings for the Green & Gold…Had a USA South best 1.74 ERA…Recorded 46 strikeouts in 2015…Appeared in 26 contests…Earned one save…Gave up no hits in eight outings…Surrendered no runs in 17 contests.

As a Sophomore (2014): Posted a 5-1 record coming out of the bullpen for the Lions, tying him for 2^nd in wins…Appeared in 20 games for the pitching staff, and posted a team-best 1.65 ERA…Also acquired a 2^nd best on the team showing of 3 saves…Allowed a mere 8 earned runs in his 43.2 innings pitched, while fanning 33 batters…Also led the team in opponent batting average holding opponents to a .192 average…Acquired a season high 6 strikeouts against Huntingdon (3/21), and picked up his 3^rd win on the year throwing 4 innings…Did not allow an earned run in his first 9 appearances on the mound…USA South Academic All-Conference Selection…Selected to the 1^st Team USA South All-Conference Team.

As a Freshman (2013): Appeared in 19 games posting one start on the mound…Finished the season with a 4-3 record in 40.2 innings of work…Posted a 3.32 ERA and 31 strikeouts...USA South Academic All-Conference honoree.

Prep & Personal: Snellville, Georgia native…Born March 15th, 1994 to parents John and Pam Tokarz…One sister, Kim…2012 graduate of Brookwood High School…Majoring in Athletic Training…Scholar Athlete in 2009, Peer Leader in 2011 & 2012…Dean’s List honoree in spring of 2013 at Piedmont…Sigma Alpha Pi honor society for leadership…Prepped under high school Coach Rick Howard…Spent his travel ball days with Team Gwinnett under Coach Chris Gant…In 2011, he went 4-2 on the mound with a 1.46 ERA in 33.2 innings pitched collecting 15 strikeouts and walking eight…In 2012, he went 4-4 with a 2.55 ERA in 49.1 innings pitched punching out 30 and walking a dozen…2012 All-Region 8AAAAA 1st Team Pitcher…April 2012 Player of the Month…Earned the 2009 Athletic Award at Brookwood…Also lettered in cross country once while picking up two baseball letters…Led his 2011 team to the Elite Eight of the state playoffs while his 2012 team was the state runner-up in 5A.
