As a Sophomore (2017): Singles record of 13-6 for the Lions with a 6-2 record in USA South... Won 4 of his last 5 matches…  Finished 8-10 doubles record, with a 4-4 record in USA South... Won 8-0 in a doubles match against Brooklyn College… 

As a Freshman (2016): Posted a 10-8 singles record, with a positive 8-2 record in USA South... Won the last 5 of 6 singles matches…  Finished 12-6 doubles record, with a positive 7-3 record in USA South... Won 4 of his last 5 doubles matches…

As a Sophomore (2016): Saw action in all 18 games this season with 15 game starts… Played for a total of 1472 minutes…  Scored 3 goals with 1 assist…  Had a season total of 7 points…  Shot on goal 5 times, and 14 shots in the season…  Featured in the Top Plays of the Month when he headed a ball in the net for the winning goal against Ferrum… Best game against LaGrange College with one goal and 1 assist.

As a Freshman (2015): Posted an even 9-9 record in his debut season... Had a positive 5-4 singles record in USA South... Posted a positive 12-6 doubles record, with a 7-2 doubles record in USA South... The only two USA South doubles losses coming from Methodist and N.C. Wesleyan, the two finalist teams... Had the second most wins in USA South for line 1 doubles... USA South Second Team All-Conference selection.

Prep & Personal: Native of Auckland, New Zealand… Born May 4th, 1996 to Alex and Leanne Metzger… Has two siblings, Matthew and Hannah Metzger… Graduated from Auckland Grammar School in 2014… Earned title of Prefect in his final year of High School... Played Table Tennis, Golf, and Squash… Played Soccer under Jimmy Hogg… Played Soccer Travel Ball for the Three Kings United under Scott MacKay… Played Tennis for Titirangi Rackets Club.
