Biography

As a Senior: (2015-2016) –Saw action in 9 of 12 games… Picked up 7 Ground balls… Caused 4 Turnovers for the Lions… Season high of 2 Groundballs and 2 Caused Turnovers against Ferrum.

As a Senior (2015): Started all 17 games played for the Lions seeing close to 1500 minutes of    action…Had 5 shutouts during the season with a total of 72 saves and a 0.735 save percentage…Has earned a goals against average of 1.96 putting him in the top 5 amongst Piedmont keepers since 2003...Awarded to the Academic All-District Team.

As a Junior (2014): Started in all 19 games…Made 97 saves, putting him 3rd in USA South for most saves…Goals scored against average was 2.09…Posted a 7-12 record in the net as a starter…Two shutouts on the year, both 2-0 wins over Bethany and Huntingdon…Posted a .713 save percentage…Played over 1700 minutes for the Lions this season...USA South All-Sportsmanship team.

As a Sophomore (2013): Started all 18 games in goal for the Lions again…In his 18 game showing recorded 98 saves…Also recorded 3 shutouts…Posted a 6-12 record, conceding 43 goals…Posted a season-high 12 saves against Covenant…Had a save percentage of .695 and a goals against average of 2.39…USA South Academic All-Conference for the second year.

As a Freshman (2012):  Started all 18 games in goal for the Lions…In 18 games, recorded 94 saves…Had a 6-10-2 record with 33 goals against…Posted season-high 12 saves against Averett…Had a save percentage of .740 and a goals against average of 1.78…USA South Academic All-Conference…USA South All-Sportsmanship team.

Prep & Personal: Born July 16th, 1994 to parents Ken and Birgit Hearn…Has one sister, Alyssa…2012 graduate of Union Grove High School…Member of the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program and Chemistry National Honor Society…Also involved with National Society of Leadership and Success…Member of Sigma Alpha Pi…Prepped under high school coach Mark Matthews…Played for two clubs growing up, Atlanta Spurs FC under Coach Paul Smith and AFC Lightning under Coach Laszlo Halmi…Ranks 4th all-time in goals against average at Union Grove…Picked up 23 saves in one game versus a top 5 team in the state of Georgia, Starr’s Mill…1.14 goals against average as a senior with four shutout performances…Two-time All Henry County 1st Team as a goalkeeper (2011-12)…Also a two-time All-Region goalkeeper…Played with ODP Europe State Team…Heidelberg County (Germany) Champion with VFB Leimen…Goal he scored was featured as an ESPN High School Goal of the Week (May 2012)…Majoring in Biology and Chemistry at Piedmont.
