Biography

As a Senior (2016): Started all 40 contests… Led the leader board in hits and RBI with 51 hits and 36 RBI on the season… Recorded 17 doubles, 1 triple and 4 homeruns… Posted 30 runs scored and 3 stolen bases… Posting 17 multi-hit games on the season including going 5-6 against Southwestern and going 4-5 against Lagrange where he hit for the cycle… Davidson set a career mark of 45 doubles surpassing the previous set record by 4 hits… Named USA South All-Conference honorable mention… Also named to the 2016 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Third Team.

As a Junior (2015): Started in 40 contests for the Green and Gold… Had a batting average of .352 which was third best on the team…Also scored 30 times while adding 41 RBI…Had 13 doubles, second best on the team behind Evan Gresham…Had a team-high two home runs…Recorded three hits five times while posting 15 multi-hit games…Helped lead the Lions to a win over N.C. Wesleyan (3/7) with a 2-for-3 day with two runs and 4 RBI hitting two doubles and being walked twice.

As a Sophomore (2014): Started all 39 contests for the Lions…1st on the team in doubles with 13…2nd on the team in triples with 3…Blasted 3 HR’s on the year tying for 1st on the team…Led the team in slugging percentage (.493)…1st on the team in RBI’s with 35, including 5 games where he had 3 or more…USA South Academic All-Conference Selection…Selected to the 1st Team USA South All-Conference Team.

As a Freshman (2013): Appeared in 13 games making 10 starts in his first season in Demorest…Despite seeing limited playing time Davidson ranked tied for first on the team in triples (2).

Prep & Personal: Born August 14th, 1993 to parents Tim and Christy Davidson…Has one brother, Deuce…Graduated from Flowery Branch High School in 2012…Majoring in Business at Piedmont…Prepped under Coach Scott Myers at Flowery Branch…Hit .420 for the Falcons with an On Base Percentage of .550, 9 home runs, a 1.200 OBPS, and 32 RBIs…Named 1st Team All-Region junior and senior year…Helped his team to a state playoff berth in freshman, junior, and senior years.
