WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- Piedmont stays in Tennessee for a second game at the Maryville Classic and will play Marietta on Sunday at 1 pm at the Scots' home field.  

TURNING POINT:
- Willmington used a pair of goals separated by about four minutes right at the mid-way point of the 1st half to take a 3-1 advantage before adding second half goals to take the eventual win. 

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Piedmont's Mason Keith scored his first goal of the 2026 season with a right-footed strike in the 13th minute that found the bottom corner. 
- The Lions also picked up a goal from Daris Mustic in the final minute of play to set the final score at 6-2 in favor of Willmington.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Two of Willmington's six goals came on penalty kicks surrendered by the Lions, one in the 10th minute that gave them the lead and another in the 21st minute that made it 3-1.
