WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- The SECCC Conference Championship in Zirconia, North Carolina as the Lions continue to pace towards nationals.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
Hear from Cycling Coach Jame Carney on the team's performance following the event when his quote becomes available.

THE FROSTY TAKE:
- The mountain bikers within the Piedmont Cycling team headed up to Banner Elk, NC on Friday to compete in a collegiate mountain bike race hosted by Lee's McRae College. However, this was not a regular conference race, but rather a tri-conference race, meaning that, along with the SECCC conference, there were also racers from the ACCC and the MWCCC conferences.
- There were teams from all over the East and Midwest competing which led to some very stacked fields as well as great nationals prep.
- The rain came in heavy on Friday night and Saturday night leaving both days of racing very saturated and slick.
- Luck wasn't on the Lions side this weekend but it was a great taste of what nationals will be like in two weeks. Next weekend they compete in the conference championship where they are eager to redeem themselves and prove they're a top team to watch at nationals.
