WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:

THE FROSTY TAKE:
- Riders from the men's cycling team traveled to Carter County Tennessee to compete in the Carter County Omnium.
- Saturday kicked off the weekend with an 80-mile road race. The course was a lollipop style course. They race did three laps then finished on a category 1 climb. Pearson Bruhns placed 9th and Shannon Himstedt placed 10th.
- In the afternoon, the riders raced a 3-mile time trial. Piedmont's best rider, Himstedt, placed 13th out of 32 riders.
- Sunday, and the final day of racing, was for the criterium. Himstedt lapped the field and ended up coming away with 7th place.
- After all the races were complete, Himstedt ended up placing 5th in the omnium.
