WHAT'S UP NEXT:
- Piedmont stays on the road with a tri-match at host Toccoa Falls College on Wednesday, September 9.  Piedmont will first play Wesleyan at 6:00 pm before taking on the host Eagles at 8:00 pm or following the conclusion of their match with Wesleyan.  

TURNING POINT:
- Likely the third set where the home team took a ten-point decision after visiting Piedmont had matched OU's set one victory with one of their own in the second set.  

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Piedmont created 30-plus total attempts in three of the four sets against OU, totaling 37 kills against the Stormy Petrels, 11 more than what the Lions posted against OU in '25. 
- Serve-Receive will likely be a point of emphasis as the Stormy Petrels compiled 15 aces to Piedmont's six, the only stat line where OU had a significant advantage.  

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES:
- Freshman Lillian Gaskins opened her Piedmont career leading the team with her 14 kills while
- Pilar Zucal added a half dozen to help Piedmont take a set off OU on the night,  
- Hannah Haskins and Erin Lemons split the setting duties with 14 and 13 assists on the night while your digs leader was Rylee Vessell with 13.
