Greensboro, NC - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has released its All-America teams for NCAA Division III with Piedmont University putting two on the listing in Cody Funk and Luke Manry. 

For Piedmont, the honors come in amongst a bevy of postseason accolades though the two join a select club from the Lions to earn All-America status.  

Cody Funk's selection comes as a result of an outstanding offensive season in 2026 hitting just under .400 for the season with 25 RBI's for the season and a team-best 65 runs scored on the season.  

With his 78 hits ranking him 17th nationally in all of Division III, Funk's 65 runs scored also put him amongst the country's leaders in that category placing him 21st.  

While his numbers at the plate were daunting, Funk was absolutely terrifying to middle infielders once reaching base which he did at a .485 rate in '26.  Funk ranked 5th nationally in stolen bases with 41 as he lived rent-free in the minds of opposing catchers most of the season. 



For Luke Manry, his All-American story was lived out on the mound as the junior from Marietta posted a 1.74 ERA in exactly 31 innings of work over 21 appearances for Head Coach Justin Scali. 

Working out of the pen, Manry logged ten saves in his appearances while also getting two wins in three decisions over the 2026 season.  The righty held opponents below .300 on the season striking out 24 batters faced and only surrendered five extra-base hits.  

Giving up only six total runs this spring, Manry was dominant down the stretch for Piedmont when it counted the most.  After allowing a run on five hits against LaGrange on April 17, Manry went on to hold the opposing team scoreless over his next six appearances with five of those coming in the postseason and Piedmont posting a 5-1 record in that span.  

The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams were unveiled during the Opening Ceremony of the NCAA Div. III College World Series in Eastlake, Ohio. This year's All-America selections include nine student-athletes competing in the 2026 NCAA Div. III College World Series.

The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees, with only ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections eligible for All-America honors. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region teams were announced Tuesday prior to the World Series.
