2026 Women's Tennis Senior Spotlight

These two seniors have been with the Lions for the past four seasons, helping the team to continued success on the court while doing standout work in the classroom as well. The two have helped the Lions continue their undefeated streak in conference matches. They are two-time CCS Tournament Champions and three-time CCS Regular Season Champions The two teamed up last season at No. 1 doubles and earned three CCS Doubles Team of the Week awards.

Jordan Ballard - Senior Spotlight

Ballard has appeared in over 150 total matches across singles and doubles in her four years at Piedmont. She is in the top 10 in program history in combined wins as she recently eclipsed 100 combined wins in her career last weekend. Jordan ranks in the top five in program history with over 50 singles wins while adding 30 doubles wins as well. Ballard was a 2x CCS Rookie of the Week, a 3x CCS Doubles Team of the Week honoree and won CCS Player of the Week last season. She was voted to the All-CCS Second Team in 2024 and was named to the CCS All-Tournament Team that season as well, helping the Lions to their second straight CCS Championship. Off the court, Jordan is a multiple time Academic All-Conference member. Ballard has completed her undergraduate degree in exercise and sports science and is currently on track to complete her master’s in athletic training.

Sarah Row
Sarah Row - Senior Spotlight

Row has appeared in over 100 total matches as a Lion the past four seasons. She has provided consistent play in both doubles and singles, recording 31 singles victories and 34 doubles victories. Row has been a constant presence, helping the team to three straight CCS Regular Season Championships while helping the team to back-to-back CCS Tournament Championships in 2023 and 2024. Teaming with Ballard at No. 1 doubles last season, she was a three-time CCS Doubles Team of the Week honoree. Sarah has been voted team captain by her teammates each of the past two seasons. Off the court, she has been a standout, having been named an ITA Scholar Athlete three times and is also a three-time CCS Academic All-Conference member. Sarah plans to graduate with a degree in criminal justice with minors in criminology, forensics psychology and psychology.
