ATLANTA - Piedmont baseball took home two CCS weekly awards, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Sophomores Jack Ryan and Andrew Misirly have been named the CCS player and pitcher of the week respectively.

Ryan was explosive all weekend series for the Lions, slugging five RBIs in the team's 22-10 win over the Blazers while hitting a grand slam in the Saturday finale. The Lions' third baseman also reached safely in all games during the series. 

Andrew Misirly, CCS Pitcher of the Week
 

Misirly twirled seven innings of one-run ball against No. 6 Belhaven, securing his third straight CCS Pitcher of the Week award. Misirly kept the Blazers off balance while limiting them to one run, while collecting three strikeouts.  This marks Misirly's third consecutive CCS Pitcher of the Week award.
