ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - Piedmont women's lacrosse continued its domination of the USA South schedule, cruising to a 22-0 win at N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

The Lions left no doubt in the early going, running out to a quick early lead while the Battling Bishops did not recover.

Piedmont provided consistent offense throughout the game, scoring six times each in the first two quarters and five times in each of the third and fourth quarters.

Savannah Limehouse was an offensive star once again, scoring seven goals for the second time in the past three games, tying her season high. The junior from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina also dished out a pair of assists to lead the way with nine points. Clara Welch continued to improve, working her way back into form with a season-high in goals for the second straight game, adding four to go with an assist. Senior Laura Crone was outstanding as well, with four goals and a pair of assists.

Newcomer Reagan Martinez delivered a season-best two goals and added an assist.

Limehouse made her presence felt early, delivering a hat trick in the first quarter alone, scoring three of the team's first five goals. Carson Bezold was active early on the offensive side, with five of her career-high eight assists coming in the opening quarter plus four minutes of the second quarter. Bezold's eight assists mark the most for the program in a game.
